Established in 2003 as the successor to Kommunalkredit Austria AG's former Department for the Management of Trust Funds, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting has set itself the goal of making a sustainable contribution to environmental, economic and social developments though the management of support programmes and targeted consulting activities.

As a niche service provider, KPC is specialised in the development, implementation and management of support programmes, mostly aimed at environmental protection and the fight against climate change. Moreover, KPC also operates in the international carbon market.

Based on their wealth of know-how, they have continuously increased the range of their consulting activities for national and regional authorities as well as international organisations and financial institutions. KPC's special focus is on consulting services within the framework of development cooperation, mainly in the EU candidate countries in South-Eastern and Central Europe.
